Systems Thinking

Systems Thinking is designed to equip public sector leaders and problem solvers with the tools and frameworks needed to analyze organizational challenges within the broader context of interconnected systems. The course helps participants develop a deeper understanding of how individual behaviors, organizational structures, and systemic patterns influence outcomes.

Through the application of systems thinking, participants will strengthen their ability to diagnose issues, design strategic interventions, engage in effective inquiry and advocacy, and recognize underlying assumptions that impact both individual and organizational effectiveness.

Instructional methods include interactive systems simulations (both computer-based and in-class), videos, worksheets, case studies, lectures, and facilitated discussions.
