Space futures explores why managers and leaders need to pay attention to space: innovation and technology dissemination, economic opportunities and drivers, resource and energy promises, global monitoring for environmental protection, national security and military interests, basic science and exploration, and inspiration and visions. Space futures are driven by trends and emerging issues and informed by space development and exploration paradigms. What are the alternative futures for space development and what are some of the major risks? What is unanticipated?
