Goal Setting Workshop

Instructor: Peter Bishop, PhD

These workshops will assist the organization in setting strategic goals for agency staff and the organization. The workshop will improve cross-functional coordination across the organization and establish meetings to support the execution of strategic goals. Participants will receive direct coaching on how to execute their roles, grounded in foresight approaches.

Course Objectives

Situate goal setting in the context of organizational history, the external change environment, and ensure alignment of goals with it
Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to goals/setting
Build transparency between teams and communicate emerging issues, critical trends, and goals across the organization
Establish mechanisms and processes to assess change in the external environment, adjust goals, and implement short- and long-term goals
